Sewing machine expression 4

Welcome to this blog on sewing...
I would like to purchase a new sewing machine. I currently have a Pfaff Expression 4,
Not been 100 percent happy with it, I hate the 9 mm stitch width as it is potentially a trap for fabric eating.
I love IDT, and the larger throat...
Has anyone got any ideas...
